Synapps is led by its founding engineer, Emmanuel Wada, formerly a senior engineer at Adobe, with production compliance and data systems in daily regulated use. Clients work directly with the person designing and writing their system, with no account layer in between.

The firm's background spans production-scale software and physical infrastructure — an earlier career in architecture, and early data work inside a family engineering practice, mean industrial operations and the data they produce are familiar ground, not abstractions.
